The Kintobor Computer spots a vast stone warrior rising from the Aquatic Ruin Zone. Sonic goes alone, clears Whisp Badniks, then nearly drowns under a fallen pillar until the Sentinel itself lifts him free. Built by the Ancient Ones to guard a vanished city, the statue refuses to join the fight against Robotnik and collapses into the sea once its purpose is gone.

Skates races to the Princess Grace after learning of a bomb aboard. Axel, Blaze and Max corner Mr X while Skates finds and throws the first device clear; Mr X then asks whether they found the second, and it destroys the ship.

Tails · The Morbidden Hunt, Part 2 #
Heading for Castle Morbidden, Tails is attacked by a gryphon and escapes when the beast crashes after chasing him off a cliff. Fox-centaurs Ginny and Neddy hail him at Portstable and lend a flying boat, but the landing strands him inland where Prince Catalus takes him.
