Sonic the Comic #95

Issue overview
Sonic moves out of Chaotix's headquarters and into a New Tek City apartment while he searches for a route home. A call to Tails shows the Freedom Fighters adapting to life without him and gives The Big Fight a personal edge.
Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · The Big Fight #
Sonic's new flat in New Tek City gives him a chance to check on Tails, but a street battle between the Bruise Brothers interrupts the call. He tries to identify the villain and gets walloped by both identical fighters, then carries their mother clear and receives a whack from her walking stick for his trouble. Their quarrel ends as usual when Ma Bruise drags the pair home by their ears, renewing Sonic's determination to escape the Special Zone.

Reprinted in issue 212.
Knuckles · Roots, Part 2 #
Robotnik's plan to replace Metropolis Park with a tower block brings Knuckles and Ebony against Omen and his cyborg gorillas. During the fight, a stray missile destroys the Elder Tree, and the surviving trees answer with a furious eruption of roots that transforms the city into a forest. Pyjamas's supposedly useless vision has proved uncannily accurate.
Script: Nigel Kitching · Art: Nigel Dobbyn · Letters: Elitta Fell
Reprinted in issue 212.
Amy's Adventures · Out for a Spin #
Amy and Tekno recover Sonic's old Flying Saucer from the overgrown Emerald Hill Zone and fit it with remote controls. Amy's first solo flight attracts three cloaked EggRobos, but she turns the saucer into a weapon and brings them down. The craft is wrecked beyond repair, leaving Amy happier to keep both feet on the ground.
Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Roberto Corona · Colour: Steve White · Letters: Gordon Robson
Reprinted in issue 189.
Sonic's World · The Monster Wakes, Part 2 #
The newly awakened dragon drives off the Freedom Fighters, scorching Shortfuse and sending the team scrambling. Amy stops Shortfuse from firing a full-power blast at the fleeing creature, while Tails follows to apologise and hears that the dragon was roused a thousand years early. It refuses to join the fight against Robotnik for now, and Amy quietly worries that Shortfuse's temper could endanger the team.
