    On New Year's Eve, Colonel Granite uses the time machine and his soldiers to invade Mobius from Earth, turning Emerald Hill's celebrations into a battle. The Freedom Fighters are outnumbered, so Sonic heads for the crowded, polluted Earth while the defence continues.

  2. Amy · New Year Out #

    Amy and Tekno resume their travels through the Ring of Eternity, arriving in the Time Stream as the Spirits of the Years Past struggle with the Time Waster. When 1930 threatens to enter the stream and tangle history, Amy intervenes so that 1999 can take its proper place.

  3. Super Sonic · Return of the Nightmare, Part 1 #

    While walking with Ebony and Pyjamas, Super Sonic is drawn into a rescue when a train leaves its bridge. Using his powers saves the passengers, but also stirs the demon within him; the Kintobor Computer alerts Sonic to the danger.

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · Enter Knuckles, Part 1 #

    Robotnik's Death Egg II vanishes mid-descent, and the Kintobor Computer steers Sonic and Tails toward the legendary Floating Island. They touch down in the Marble Garden Zone, smash a wall-carved face that fires arrows, and nearly slide off the rim before Tails hauls Sonic back through an underside tunnel. A spiked Badnik forces Sonic to raise an unfamiliar forcefield, then Robotnik steps between the pillars—only for Knuckles the Echidna, the Island's guardian and new bodyguard, to knock Sonic cold.

    First appeared in issue 33.
