Sonic the Hedgehog · Doomsday, Part 2 #
The blazing object above New Tek City is revealed as the Black Asteroid, where Super Sonic has turned himself into a huge store of energy to escape Omni-Viewer’s time trap. Omni cannot yet send Sonic home, so the hedgehog helps Chaotix confront Lightmare. Her nightmare weapon reveals that Sidewinder’s plan to command Super Sonic is hopeless, and that she is secretly his daughter. While Sonic’s group pursues the madman, Vector stays behind to help Omni prepare a desperate solution.
First appeared in issue 98.
Knuckles · Victims, Part 2 #
Robotnik’s new captives are shown the fate awaiting them: the Emerald Hill folk are wired into a biological computer, with their minds intended to replace ordinary circuitry. Knuckles and Porker are powerless to intervene, while Doctor Zachary explains how Robotnik rebuilt him after his fall from the island. The machine’s activation is imminent, but an unnoticed visitor changes the wider situation: Omni-Viewer witnesses the atrocity and hurries back towards the Special Zone to warn Sonic.

Sonic's World: Amy & Tekno · High in the Sky #
Norris Wimple tells the press he has snapped a UFO before the film is even developed; D.R.A.T. snatch him in case the shot shows one of Robotnik's secret weapons. Amy and Tekno free him after Tekno nets the lead mini-saucer and reprograms it to trash the kidnap van. The print turns out to be Tails, who rather fancies the likeness.
First appeared in issue 117.
Sonic's World · Solidarity #
With Robotnik absent, Acting Tyrant Grimer turns the Metropolis Zone into a petty police state, arresting people for absurd offences and enforcing an impossible curfew. The Freedom Fighters abandon their planned raid to defend the residents, but Troopers soon trap them. A young citizen’s courage sparks a mass revolt: neighbours rise together, overwhelm the bullies and rescue the heroes. For once, Robotnik’s oppressed population proves it can organise without waiting for a saviour.
