Issue overview
A Drakon Sentinel strikes Sonic in Emerald Hill. Robotnik and Emperor Ko-Dorr watch from Flickies' Island as the second Best of Enemies chapter turns the empire's concern about Sonic into an attack on his home.
Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · Best of Enemies, Part 2 #
A Drakon Sentinel bowls Sonic over in the Emerald Hill Zone after the Kintobor Computer flags an intruder; he and Tails have no idea why Emperor Ko-Dorr wants him. On Flickies' Island the Emperor dreams of wringing the Chaos Emeralds' location from Sonic while Robotnik quietly tells Grimer he never intends to hand them over. Sonic and Tails shred a Prosecutor's Sentinel squad until a far larger machine rises from the sea — the Master Sentinel.

Super Sonic · Hunter & The Hunted, Part 2 #
Bio-Hazard trashes The Groovy Train hunting Super Sonic; Ebony's Golden Rays bounce off him, so she floods the bar with illusion copies while she, Pyjamas and the amnesiac hedgehog slip out. From the Special Zone, Sidewinder's crew watch their agent spray toxic waste at the silent images instead of grabbing the prize. In the back room Ebony asks Pyjamas to mind-link Super Sonic just as Bio-Hazard works out which door hides the real one.

Double Sonic · Hot Legs #
Emerald Hill's Bonfire Night Guy contest is upstaged by a gigantic wooden Robotnik from an 'anonymous overseas benefactor' — Robotnik himself. Grimer cracks the statue open to spill Badniks; Sonic races round the effigy until friction sets it ablaze and it topples onto the swarm Tails has herded beneath. The bonfire is a roaring success even if Robotnik's night is not.
Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Mick McMahon · Letters: Elitta Fell
Reprinted in issue 199.
Sonic's World: Amy & Tekno · High in the Sky #
Norris Wimple tells the press he has snapped a UFO before the film is even developed; D.R.A.T. snatch him in case the shot shows one of Robotnik's secret weapons. Amy and Tekno free him after Tekno nets the lead mini-saucer and reprograms it to trash the kidnap van. The print turns out to be Tails, who rather fancies the likeness.
