Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · Badniks Bridge, Part 1 #
As Bob Beaky's Travelling Circus, the Freedom Fighters wow a crowd; Amy outlines Porker with crossbow bolts while Sonic, disguised as Bob Beaky, plugs the show. The Kintobor Computer intercepts Robotnik's plan to haul a Death Egg II thruster across Emerald Valley Bridge, so Sonic plants mines ahead of the convoy. An elite Special Badnik Service Trooper cages him just as the load rolls toward the charges.

Streets of Rage · The Only Game in Town, Part 3 #
Mace-swinging motorbike gangs nearly flatten Axel, Blaze, Max and Skates before the heroes floor them on the second pass; a biker admits the whole city is betting on who kills them. Sergeant Feroccio calls in a dirty favour for a helicopter by the East River. When the chopper drops a rope ladder, the vigilantes climb despite knowing the police hate them almost as much as the gangs do.

Knuckles · Carnival Night Conspiracy, Part 5 #
The Marxios report Knuckles beaten to Grimer, then panic when his body vanishes as opening-day guests arrive. He tunnels up, wrecks their clown combat machine, and faces a Badnik horde Chicio summons while Grouchio spins the carnival as celebrating Knuckles' victory over Robotnik. Crowds block any zone-wrecking solution; Knuckles needs another way, and fast.
Script: Nigel Kitching · Art: Richard Elson · Letters: Elitta Fell
Reprinted in issue 176.
Marko's Magic Football · Marko's Magic Football, Part 3 #
In North Sterlington's sewers Marko meets slime-coated dinosaurs and boots them aside with his magic football. Colonel Brown orders a scientist to invent a counter while Captain Smirk appears, urging Marko to stop Brown and handing him an 'extra life'. The boy now has both a mission and a second chance.
