Original stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · The Rampage of Mekanik, Part 2 #

Shortfuse snatches Sonic from Mekanik's flames a heartbeat before he is roasted, then concentrates blaster fire on one leg until Sonic can smash inside. Vibrating at super-speed, the hedgehog shakes the giant to pieces from within. Back at the Citadel a furious Robotnik decides he needs help sharing the load and orders work begun on Project Brutus.

  2. Kid Chameleon · Back to Unreality! Part 5 #

As Cyclone, Casey storms Islecatraz, wrecks the robot guards and finds Brad taking orders from the same Voice that has guided him through Wildside. He shepherds the captive kids to a telepad, then catches Brad fleeing in a rowboat. Removing his helmet, Casey admits he is only a schoolkid too.

  3. Knuckles · Total Chaotix, Part 6 #

Nack's double-cross backfires when the Emperor Metallix orders him destroyed with Chaotix; his hidden Disruptor never finishes growing before he is blasted. Knuckles seizes the weapon, shuts down every Metallix in the fortress and returns home with the Omni-Viewer's programme. A back-up system soon revives the Brotherhood, now armed with their own red Main Viewer.

  4. Sparkster · Last of the Rocket Knights! Part 6 #

Gedol flees the cathedral with Princess Shelly, scales a building and demands safe passage, but she elbows him and drops rather than stay his hostage. Sparkster catches her on his rocket pack; Gedol's leap misses and he plunges into the river below. His rule over Elhorn is broken, yet putting the realm right has only just begun.

Script: Nigel Kitching · Art: Keith Page · Letters: Steve Potter
