    Tikal takes Sonic into Mobius's ancient past, just before a war between the echidnas and the Drakons. A Drakon Prosecutor appears as Sonic tries to understand why he has been brought there.

  1. Knuckles · Total Chaotix, Part 1 #

    Chaos Emeralds restored, Knuckles tolerates Emerald Hill refugees in Mushroom Hill, then digs a buried giant ring from a Death Egg crater. Misreading a legend of 'dream country' for Nightmare Country, he is yanked into the Special Zone, where the Omni-Viewer brands him Robotnik's ally and summons Chaotix to settle his fate.

  2. Tails · Fleabyte Returns #

    Cutting through Casino Night toward Metropolis, Tails stops Brutus's Troopers slaughtering civilians - then Fleabyte nets him for a bounty, only for Troopers to jail hunter and fox together. Fleabyte's robotic claw picks the lock once Tails suggests it; syrup and a pinball machine finish the Troopers before Fleabyte turns on Tails again and ends up in his own net. Locals beg Tails to stay, and he does - citizens first.

    First appeared in issue 80.

  3. Sonic the Hedgehog · The Rampage of Mekanik, Part 2 #

    Shortfuse snatches Sonic from Mekanik's flames a heartbeat before he is roasted, then concentrates blaster fire on one leg until Sonic can smash inside. Vibrating at super-speed, the hedgehog shakes the giant to pieces from within. Back at the Citadel a furious Robotnik decides he needs help sharing the load and orders work begun on Project Brutus.
