Original stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · The Brotherhood of Metallix, Part 1 #

In the Metropolis Zone the Freedom Fighters meet the absurd Mister Blobnik, whose pipe and umbrella look a joke until a bubble trap whisks Sonic away. Meanwhile a Metallix drags Grimer through a red Main Viewer into the Special Zone, where the Emperor demands help seizing the Miracle Planet's power. At the Citadel, Robotnik frees Sonic and proposes an uneasy alliance against the Brotherhood.

Casey and Brad fight a shark after their rowboat capsizes; Brad hauls Casey ashore and they climb toward the telepad, only to find power enough for one traveller. A security alarm on the Floating Island sends Knuckles to Mushroom Hill, where he sees Tails and Shaman Warpull at a glowing portal and tackles them through it. Errol Blackthorn returns from the Land Beyond already changed into a monstrous troll.

After Sonic and Tails trash the Hill Top Badniks, B.A.R.F. agents Cam and Bert face Robotnik and then his new scheme: ferry advanced Palmtree Panic machines from the Miracle Planet into Green Hill to confuse the rebels. Reluctantly they hitch the Ark Pod to the Barfmobile and set course for the orbiting planet, Cam already uneasy.
