Reprinted stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · The Big Decision #

Porker returns his black jacket and quits the Freedom Fighters after a month as Metallix prisoner left him broken; Sonic snaps that he is soft, then storms out while Chaotix leave after Nack without even asking him along. Troopers club the concussed hedgehog and catch Amy and Johnny too, until Porker wires a puddle and drops the lot. Next morning Sonic sees him off to Mushroom Hill with the Emerald Hill Folk, and admits soft is exactly how he wants him.

    First appeared in issue 76.

  2. Knuckles and Tails · The Revenge of Trogg, Part 1 #

A security alarm on the Floating Island sends Knuckles to Mushroom Hill, where he sees Tails and Shaman Warpull at a glowing portal and tackles them through it. They emerge in the Nameless Zone; Warpull mistook Knuckles for Sonic and explains that Trogg has seized the Enchanter Kings. Errol Blackthorn returns from the Land Beyond already changed into a monstrous troll.

    First appeared in issue 59.

  3. Sonic the Hedgehog · Spinball Wizard #

Tails sulks when Sonic's fan-mail buries the circus wagon and nothing arrives for him, so he marches on Casino Night Zone to prove himself - and Troopers dump him straight into Robotnik's Spinball Murder Machine. Sonic races in with Power Sneakers, only to tumble into the flippers himself until he can barely stand. Tied beside him, Tails slips free, rides the giant metal spinball into the generator and blows the machine apart; back home a letter finally comes for the fox - an overdue library fine.

    First appeared in issue 73.

  4. Captain Plunder · Captain Plunder & His Sky Pirates, Part 2 #

Plunder stands trial for crimes against Robotnik on live television: Trooper footage, a severed robot head as Exhibit G, a useless defence counsel, and a camera-hungry judge. Sentenced to hang until he is sorry — preferably dead — he is chained at Highview Corrective Centre, where frog warder Mister Gullets drenches him with something that is definitely not water. Cellmate Simpson the Cat moans that he knows a secret exit he cannot reach; luckily Plunder's hook hides a mechanical chain-cutter.

    First appeared in issue 48.

  5. Sonic's World · Part 1: Kintobor spelled backwards is... #

The Kintobor Computer recounts the accident that made Robotnik and the early struggle over the Chaos Emeralds. Porker becomes one of Robotnik's living batteries as Sonic fights back.

    First appeared in issue 26.
