Porker returns his black jacket and quits the Freedom Fighters after a month as Metallix prisoner left him broken; Sonic snaps that he is soft, then storms out while Chaotix leave after Nack without even asking him along. Troopers club the concussed hedgehog and catch Amy and Johnny too, until Porker wires a puddle and drops the lot. Next morning Sonic sees him off to Mushroom Hill with the Emerald Hill Folk, and admits soft is exactly how he wants him.

Knuckles · The Ghost Ship, Part 3 #
Tantaror blast energy from their fingers and scatter the Sky Pirates; Plunder, Knuckles, Filch and Simpson flee to a hold packed with chained Mobian slaves who have given up hope. Knuckles wants a last stand, but Plunder works the Idol until white light dumps them on a pier at Scourge Bay - a teleport, and Plunder's ticket to becoming Mobius's most feared pirate.

Shining Force · The Curse of Zeon, Part 4 #
At Ribble, Kadavaar shows Zeon's image their plan to shatter Granseal's tower while his men brandish magic wands that are guns. Chester and Taya clear the dig entrance; Bowie, unable even to draw Max's sword, scoffs at an acolyte's metal stick until a bullet drops him and Taya struggles to extract the small piece of metal. On Granseal the Zeonites readying their ancient sorcery name it plainly: a nuclear bomb.

Tails! · Fox on the Run, Part 4 #
Fleabyte drags rope-bound Tails and Tantrum through desert toward a Robotnik payday until Tails lifts off on free tails and the bounty hunter's shot only severs the ropes. Recapturing Tantrum beneath a shaky rock stack, Fleabyte meets another of the mouse's screams - and the landslide. Home in Metropolis Zone, Tantrum wants more adventures; Tails invents an excuse and bolts, certain Freedom Fighter danger is a doddle beside babysitting that mouse.
