Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · The Brotherhood of Metallix, Part 4 #
The Emperor Metallix believes Sonic, Amy and Johnny have been captured, until he realises a fourth life-form is missing and the escort Metallix is stuck repeating its report. Porker's reprogrammed robot detonates, shredding the Brotherhood nearby, yet the Alpha Device keeps metallising the Miracle Planet. Porker begins a careful discharge of its energy, but the crippled Emperor reactivates the device and Porker races back just as the planet fades for a month, stranding him.

Ecco the Dolphin · Return of Ecco the Dolphin, Part 3 #
Dying from the Pearl's radiation, Ecco is swept upward on an upcurrent to the Asterite, which reclaims the gem and purges the poison from his body. The Asterite then teaches him the Vortex tongue, explaining that only speakers of that language can return through the orbital gateway, and wraps him in a protective field. Empowered, Ecco rockets through the thinning atmosphere until he is swimming among the stars.
Script: Alan McKenzie · Art: Steve White · Letters: Elitta Fell
Knuckles and Tails · The Revenge of Trogg, Part 4 #
Knuckles, Tails and Morain are hauled before Trogg as moonlight through a roof-lens strikes a black orb and summons the goat-faced Dark One. While the goblins gape at the demon, the heroes cut the Kings free and attempt a quiet exit, but Trogg orders the Dark One to stop them and its magic pins the trio. Trogg postpones his revenge on Tails so he can first remake the Kings into dark forms like himself.

Reprinted in issue 201.
Sonic's World · The Seven Badniks, Part 4 #
Cam and Bert unleash the Seven Badniks on Green Hill; the new machines shrug off attacks and herd every Palmtree Panic Badnik into the Ark Pod. Leaving the Seven to hold the Zone for Robotnik, the agents dump their captives back on the Miracle Planet and point them at a resting Sonic. The Freedom Fighters, well rested, smash the lot, leaving Cam reaching for her toolbox while Bert muses whether even those seven upgrades could have troubled the hedgehog.
Script: Mark Eyles · Art: Mike Hadley, John M. Burns · Letters: Steve Potter
