Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · The Return of Chaotix, Part 1 #
Sonic waits at Never Lake for the Miracle Planet's monthly return and greets Porker Lewis on the giant chain after a month alone; Porker insists he is unhurt, though his manner is oddly stiff. Chaotix arrive via the Omni-Viewer, smash Special Badnik Service tanks with Sonic's help, and warn of a Metallix scheme Sonic believes already finished. Omni then peels away an energy screen: the planet's green-and-blue look was an illusion, and it now stares down as a vast Metallix head.

Decap Attack · Monster of the Year, Part 2 #
Late to the lonely house hosting the Monster of the Year awards, Chuck bins the doorman so the party can enter Chuck in the Man-made category. Inside he ruins Doctor X's shrinking-man entry by standing on it, then backstage insults from rival monsters spark a brawl. The fighters tumble onto the stage just as their category is called, to the Professor's acute embarrassment.

Knuckles · The Homecoming, Part 3 #
Absorbing Chaos Emerald power, the Guardian robot blasts Knuckles through a wall; believing him dead, Zachary reveals he and the machine were allies all along and means to crash the Floating Island onto Mobius as a monument to his genius. He flies off in the robot's head cockpit, but Knuckles survives, snaps an arm-wing and strands them both. The Island's orbit then drives them straight toward a mountain range.

Sonic's World · Cybernik Strikes Back, Part 5 #
Shortfuse storms Citadel Robotnik to free Tekno, shredding Troopers until only Robotnik remains, then Metamorphia arrives with Tekno as hostage. When she admits her powers are gone, Tekno floors her with a judo throw; Shortfuse refuses to shoot Robotnik, preferring him to suffer knowing he created his own nemesis. Back at Tekno's workshop she offers a shared base, but he stays on the move and promises to return.
