Sonic the Hedgehog · The Return of Chaotix, Part 2 #
Sonic races up the chain toward the metallised Miracle Planet with Porker and Chaotix, then spots wires under a scratch on Porker's skin: a Porker Metallix that shrugs off their combined assault. A Spin Attack overloads its death ray; Vector and Mighty Link-Ring the exploding impostor clear of the chain, and they free the real Porker below. Decap Attack · Monster of the Year, Part 3 #
On stage for the Man-made judging, Chuck wrecks both rival contestants and wins the category by default, then rows with Head and suggests ending their partnership, just as Head is named overall Monster of the Year. Head becomes an instant celebrity with the Professor as manager; Chuck's apologies fall flat, and Head's hulking bodyguard looks quite strong enough to throw Chuck about for a change.

Knuckles · The Homecoming, Part 4 #
Without the Master Emerald the Floating Island slams onto a mountain, wrecking homes in the Mushroom Hill Zone, while Zachary attacks Knuckles for stranding them both. Knuckles shears the robot's head from its body with a hurled stone; a tremor then dumps Zachary and the husk over the edge into the clouds. Staying with his home, Knuckles hauls the still-charged Guardian head into the Emerald Chamber, restores the Island's lift, and vows that next time his people return he will ask harder questions.

Amy in · Snow Business #
On New Year's Day in the Ice Cap Zone, Amy's mistletoe fails to catch Sonic, who races off with Johnny while she sulks in the snow. Reaching for another sprig, she triggers a buried Snownik that freezes her crossbow and chases her with ice blasts until she goads it into an ice-slide over a cliff. When Sonic rushes back to help, she springs the mistletoe kiss and murmurs that next year will be sneakier still.
