Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · Return to the Miracle Planet #
The Miracle Planet hangs over Mobius again, still metal-clad; Sonic, Amy and Johnny wire a portable Kintobor Computer to reverse the Alpha Device, now tower-tall, so the world can green once more. A rust Metallix shadow panics Sonic into a chase and near-beheading until a low-power chest blast and a plea prove it is a green bird in stolen armour, stranded since the Brotherhood left. Amy's armour-piercing arrow flies at the unmasked head; Sonic snatches it unseen, fibs about her aim, and they leave the Alpha Device a month's work from restoring the landscape.

Knuckles · The Ghost Ship, Part 6 #
Heretic Tantaror batter Knuckles aside and pluck the Idol through his body, yet it will not teleport them - they are already home, the Ghost Ship cupped in giant Ekkletos's hands after he used Knuckles as bait. Slaves and pirates return to Scourge Bay; the Idol is gone, Plunder withholds the document chest, and Pirate Queen Zorabel has Tom hand it over before calling for her knuckle-dusters as Plunder scarpers.

Reprinted in issue 171.
Tails · Grounded #
Tails hunts a Spider-Moth Badnik in Aquatic Ruin Zone and takes webbing across both tails, grounding him while fire bombs and Brutus-boasting chase him through the trees. A vine-bent palm catapults him into the moth and then into the lake, where a Masher's teeth finally cut the web. Free to fly again, he races for Metropolis to warn Sonic that Commander Brutus is planning a revolution.

Sonic's World · Revolution, Part 1 #
Robotnik floods Metropolis with Badniks to prove he still rules; Sonic, Amy and Johnny answer - then a second army arrives and starts wrecking the first. Johnny names them Brutus's machines as the Commander's mothership settles on the street; Sonic's Spin Attack bounces off Brutus's armour and a blaster bolt floors the hedgehog. With Sonic out cold, nobody stands between Brutus and conquest.
