    Robotnik joins forces with the Plax after deciding that destroying Mobius is easier than conquering it, and the aliens build an anti-life machine. The attack begins with an energy storm, a dying Christmas tree and a snowman made from microscopic robots; Sonic's speed cocoon and a diverted lightning strike stop the immediate threat. As life continues to disappear, the Freedom Fighters organise a hunt for Robotnik while Tails stays behind to protect Emerald Hill's survivors.

  1. Knuckles · The Ghost Ship, Part 6 #

    Heretic Tantaror batter Knuckles aside and pluck the Idol through his body, yet it will not teleport them - they are already home, the Ghost Ship cupped in giant Ekkletos's hands after he used Knuckles as bait. Slaves and pirates return to Scourge Bay; the Idol is gone, Plunder withholds the document chest, and Pirate Queen Zorabel has Tom hand it over before calling for her knuckle-dusters as Plunder scarpers.

  2. Tails · The Land Beyond, Part 1 #

    Tails and Errol Blackthorn cross into the Land Beyond to recover the missing Enchanter King Shirob. Goblins meet them on the far side of the Dimension Bridge.

  3. Sonic the Hedgehog · Ice Cap Attack, Part 2 #

    Sonic and Knuckles smash into Robotnik's egg-shaped ice bunker and are pinned by a lethal light barrier while the doctor gloats about Inter-Zone armies. Knuckles tunnels free; together they trash Penguinators and the portal gear as Robotnik flees in a Flying Egg. After ushering freed animals home, Knuckles ends the truce and bans Sonic from the Floating Island; snow falls in the Green Hill Zone as Sonic wishes everyone a merry Christmas, egg-villains excepted.
