1. Sonic the Hedgehog · Splitzoid #

   Robotnik equips a new Zone-made weapon with the ability to duplicate whenever it is attacked, turning Sonic's first counterblow into a growing swarm of Splitzoids. Sonic lures the machines to the Ice Cap Zone, where the cold slows the copies and an avalanche buries most of them. He then draws the original into an ice trap, leaving its final duplicate too late to save the frozen, immobile army.

1. Knuckles · The Ghost Ship, Part 5 #

   Knuckles, Plunder and Zorabel face Ekkletos, spiritual head of the Tantaror, who wants the Idol's thieves named; Knuckles exposes Plunder's theft while Ekkletos explains he meant to recall three heretics slaving for late priest Orkym-Ro's tomb. When Knuckles insists the captives come first, Ekkletos sends him alone back to the Ghost Ship hold. Chains begin to yield - then the heretics appear and demand their Idol.

   First appeared in issue 78.

2. Tails · The Nameless Zone, Part 2 #

   The Enchanter Kings arm Tails for a confrontation with Trogg. A chance sword stroke cuts the Dimension Bridge's rope, and Tails uses flight to turn the encounter in his favour.

   First appeared in issue 17.

3. Sonic the Hedgehog · Ice Cap Attack, Part 1 #

   Penguinator Badniks spill into Hill Top through a mid-air gateway that opens onto icy Floating Island terrain. Sonic dives through while the rest of the Freedom Fighters hold the line, and finds Knuckles already smashing the invaders. The pair strike a grudging Christmas truce to hunt the portal tech together; Robotnik, watching on a monitor, bets they will not live to see the holiday.

   First appeared in issue 41.
