Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · Plasma #
Metropolis Troopers kick in doors on the slogan that everyone is guilty of something; Sonic, Amy and Johnny raid a section-house to free prisoners bound for Badnik plants, though Sonic stalls mid-breakout to insist Amy is not his girlfriend. Glowing Plasma and gadgeteer Arnem Abacus arrive - Sonic's charge and cyclone fail against the energy being until Amy knocks Abacus cold and smashes the control box, snuffing Plasma mid-punch. She lets Sonic take the glory as Mobius's symbol of hope, and he accepts it rather too well.

Knuckles · The Ghost Ship, Part 5 #
Knuckles, Plunder and Zorabel face Ekkletos, spiritual head of the Tantaror, who wants the Idol's thieves named; Knuckles exposes Plunder's theft while Ekkletos explains he meant to recall three heretics slaving for late priest Orkym-Ro's tomb. When Knuckles insists the captives come first, Ekkletos sends him alone back to the Ghost Ship hold. Chains begin to yield - then the heretics appear and demand their Idol.

Shining Force · The Curse of Zeon, Part 6 #
Zeonites haul their so-called mystical device to the Abyss portal as the Shining Force teleports into Granseal's tower; Zynk recognises a nuclear bomb that could erase half the island. Bowie opens the portal with Max's sword, they shove the device through and reseal it - yet the blast still punches out and floors them. Max's spirit rises once more and crowns them Rune's new champions: the Shining Force.

Sonic's World · Hidden Danger, Part 2 #
Sonic drags Tails clear of the invisible jungle robot and skims a lake so his legs spray water that paints the machine; vines plus a Spin Attack crack the cloak until they shove it off a cliff into the drink, where exposed wires short. Watching, Robotnik still dreams of an invisible army - until Grimer admits the cloaking plans themselves turned invisible and he cannot rebuild. Grimer wisely chooses to vanish too.
