Reprinted stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · Plasma #

Metropolis Troopers kick in doors on the slogan that everyone is guilty of something; Sonic, Amy and Johnny raid a section-house to free prisoners bound for Badnik plants, though Sonic stalls mid-breakout to insist Amy is not his girlfriend. Glowing Plasma and gadgeteer Arnem Abacus arrive - Sonic's charge and cyclone fail against the energy being until Amy knocks Abacus cold and smashes the control box, snuffing Plasma mid-punch. She lets Sonic take the glory as Mobius's symbol of hope, and he accepts it rather too well.

    First appeared in issue 78.

  2. Knuckles and Tails · The Revenge of Trogg, Part 3 #

Knuckles and Tails cross into the Land Beyond and are joined by Morain, Errol Blackthorn's sword-wielding sister, who wants revenge on Trogg. Goblin warriors soon overwhelm the trio and they are forced to surrender when a fresh army arrives. Meanwhile Trogg, watching through a scrying crystal, prepares to turn the captive Enchanter Kings into monsters when the moon reaches its zenith.

    First appeared in issue 61.

  3. Captain Plunder · Captain Plunder & His Sky Pirates, Part 4 #

Plunder and Simpson crawl out through Gulch's tunnel just as Filch's rescue party blunders in the opposite direction; Simpson's cartoon lightbulb lights the dark, then he swallows it to hide. The two groups pass unseen; headlines trumpet Plunder's escape while his crew, bar ghostly Filch, are captured in the botched raid. Back in Mystic Cave Zone, Plunder decides a new crew beats sharing treasure with the old one.

    First appeared in issue 50.

  4. Sonic's World · Enter the Cybernik, Part 1 #

Short-tempered Shorty the Squirrel nearly clocks a bird for praising Robotnik before Hopper drags him off. A Troop Ship scoops Emerald Hill folk for Badnik processing; Shorty stows away, sabotages the plant computer, and is seized anyway. Robotnik declares him the first Cybernik — a Super-Badnik whose armour and circuitry will never let him free.

    First appeared in issue 45.
