Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · Heroes & Villains, Part 2 #
Lieutenant Furor grills Sonic over Chaotix while the crew argue at satellite HQ - Omni cannot pierce the station's barrier. Lord Sidewinder posts bail, escorts Sonic to his ancestral pile, and unveils Lightmare, Mr Fry and Bio-Hazard. Super Sonic was the price of freedom: the demon shreds the mansion, swats the gang, shrugs off Sonic's spin and vows to destroy the blue half that once held him.
Script: Nigel Kitching · Art: Richard Elson · Letters: Ellie de Ville
Reprinted in issue 206.
Knuckles · Village of the Damned, Part 2 #
Screams yank Knuckles from The Green Man; he glides down, floors torch-bearing villagers and frees a sheep girl bound for the Moon Goddess. She volunteers the watch while he sleeps - then leads the cult straight to the barn. Mesmer crowns him the prophesied Red One, cages him in a giant wicker egg atop a pyre, and reminds him Robotnik will not care who burns.
Script: Nigel Kitching · Art: Nigel Dobbyn · Letters: Elitta Fell
Reprinted in issue 205.
Tails · Trooper Trouble, Part 1 #
George grudgingly pays a scavenging Trooper in Wood Village Zone and waits for Sonic or Shortfuse - Tails arrives instead. The tin soldier flees into a real patrol; Tails smashes it and finds Clive the Donkey wearing scrap armour to teach the village a lesson. Genuine Troopers web the pair before either can flee.
Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Carl Flint · Colour: Gina Hart · Letters: Tom Frame
Reprinted in issue 185.
Sonic's World · Scream Theme Park #
Max Gamble's Pit Plunge at Thrillworld packs Casino Night crowds until the track dumps them into a Badnik processor below. Shortfuse, already aboard on suspicion, shreds Troopers and rips the power cable through his own armour before blasting the rest. Above, he forces refunds Gamble cannot refuse and tears the coaster apart - heroes, Gamble mutters, are the worst.
