Original stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · Doomsday, Part 1 #

New Tek City faces a bizarre double-sun scare while Lord Sidewinder hunts for the power of Super Sonic. Sonic and Chaotix foil Doctor Plague’s attempt to unleash a lethal virus, though a warning from Porker Lewis is cut short. With Sonic still stranded in the Special Zone, the returning Omni-Viewer announces a planetary threat. Sidewinder, meanwhile, believes the second sun has finally revealed his prize.

    Reprinted in issue 214.

  2. Knuckles · Victims, Part 1 #

Knuckles returns to the Floating Island expecting to repair the Emerald Chamber, but finds the Emerald Hill community missing. A frightened Porker Lewis emerges from hiding and tries to send a warning to Sonic before Robotnik’s attack destroys the communication link. The echidna then discovers the culprits: Robotnik, the rebuilt Doctor Zachary and a force of guardian robots. Their capture is clearly only the opening move in a much larger scheme.

    Reprinted in issue 214.

  3. Decap Attack · Dead! Part 1 #

At Castle Frank N Stein, a medical examination produces an alarming verdict: Chuck D. Head is apparently dead. Netherworld officials arrive in a lift, misidentify the residents and carry Chuck, Head, Igor and the Professor underground. The quartet is put aboard a train bound for Hell, where Frank demands answers from its management. His protest leads to an astonishing reunion when the person in charge turns out to be their old enemy Max D Cap.

Script: Nigel Kitching, Richard Rayner · Art: Mick McMahon · Letters: Ellie de Ville

  4. Sonic's World · Boiling Point #

Freedom Fighters infiltrate a Chemical Plant factory where kidnapped workers are forced to manufacture Toxo Cubes, dangerous blocks that can poison water. The rescue goes wrong when Shortfuse spots his rival Vermin running the operation and attacks instead of following orders. Amy and Tails scramble to save Johnny from an acid vat while the fight wrecks the machinery. Shortfuse’s priorities cause a furious argument, and he quits the team to pursue Robotnik alone.

Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Roberto Corona · Colour: Steve White · Letters: Gordon Robson
