Sonic catches the hippopotamus himself, then confronts Professor Zed at the monkeys' school. The supposed mentor is unmasked as Madmeano, who has been manipulating the routine so his gang can steal undisturbed; the Monkeys replace Hero Hour with a more miserable daily ritual.

  2. Knuckles · Roots, Part 3 #

With the Elder Tree gone, the Ancient Trees raise a vast forest across Metropolis Zone and Omen's forces ambush Knuckles, Ebony and Pyjamas. Omen and the cyborg gorillas are expelled, while new shoots promise that the Elder Tree may return.

  4. Sonic's World: Amy & Tekno · Earthbound, Part 2 #

Bored in Starwatch cells, Tekno blows the door with an Explosive Earring; they free Cratermass, dodge Granite, and flee in the hangar's two-seater with the Professor clinging outside. Back at his house they finish the infra-space gateway; Amy and Tekno dive through, and Cratermass deletes the program so Granite cannot follow. Amy later tells Johnny Lightfoot Earth was fine for a day trip.

  5. Sonic's World · The Monster Wakes, Part 1 #

The Freedom Fighters accept Tekno's underground laboratory as a possible base and start digging to make room.
