Robotnik and Knuckles flee back to the Floating Island with Sonic's Chaos Emeralds. Sonic's pursuit forces him and Knuckles into another fight, even though the island's guardian is trying to protect the Emeralds rather than serve Robotnik.

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · Power of the Chaos Emeralds, Part 2 #

    Knuckles traps Sonic in giant stone hands and flees with Robotnik to the Temple of Chaos, but Sonic was only feigning captivity to follow. Robotnik merges twelve Emeralds back into six, betrays Knuckles and turns Tails to glass; Knuckles then reveals he kept the Grey Emerald all along, drains Robotnik's power and sends him home. He declines Sonic's Freedom Fighter invite, preferring to wait alone for his people among the stars.

  2. Mutant League · Bring Me The Head of Coach Brikka, Part 6 #

    The Midway Monsters face the Slaycity Slayers with the MFL cup, Coach Brikka's noggin and Brenda's troth all on the line; K.T. cheats inside a transforming robot until Razor Kid plugs the exhaust with the ball and Bones punches his teeth out. The Monsters win and reseat Coach Brikka's head—then Bones realises the marriage clause applies to him too.

  3. Tails · Zonerunner & The Flock, Part 2 #

    Sab the sheep yanks Tails clear of Nutzan Bolt, dubs him a Zonerunner, and outfits him with a longcoat and microputer before leading him to the Flock's underground Runs. They confirm Bolt's Mega Mack flood plan and robots dismantling the barriers; despite Tails insisting Sonic is the real hero, the Flock hauls him along to stop it.

  4. Decap Attack · Who Killed Chuck? Part 3 #

    Chuck turns on Igor for the murder; Igor protests that monsterhood beats double-glazing sales. Detective Case returns with a leaflet from the hallway as proof someone was there; Igor frames Chuck, Case opens fire, and a castle chase begins with Igor dragged along as guide.
