Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · Flickies' Island, Part 3 #
With Tails captive, a Drakon Prosecutor steps through the Mobius Ring and demands who unlocked its secrets. Sonic frees Tails in the distraction, but the Prosecutor pins everyone with a gravity field and hauls Robotnik off for interrogation. Sonic's spin attack wins only a jolt of electricity before the pair vanish through the ring, which then dies. A scrap of armour left behind shows a face Sonic almost recognises.

Captain Plunder · Captain Plunder and the Spice Maidens, Part 4 #
Krakiota has named the island; Plunder, Zorabel and the Spice Maidens reach King Akotek's tomb while Filch is sent back to the ship to research why Zorabel needs them at all. Simpson is kicked inside as a trap detector and emerges bristling with arrows — faking, as nobody cared either way. Plunder breaks the unbroken seal; Filch races up too late with the curse warning as the giant statue of Akotek comes alive.

Sonic's World · Out of Work Hero #
Amy, Johnny and Tekno free Shortfuse from a lump of solidified lava at the Lava Loch Zone — he fell in when the electromagnetic pulse that ended Robotnik's rule cut his armour. Furious he missed the final victory, he tries civilian jobs and wrecks each one with Cybernik strength. A temporary portal opens seeking Sonic as champion of another world; Shortfuse flies through instead. Days later Amy tells Tekno he is out there being the hero he always meant to be.
Script: Lew Stringer · B&W art: Roberto Corona · Colour: Nigel Dobbyn · Letters: Elitta Fell
Reprinted in issue 222.
Double Sonic · Zero Zone, Part 1 #
Investigating missing people, Sonic is sucked through mid-air into Perfection — a tidy village of identical yellow blazers where names are banned and citizens answer only by number. He smashes a laser-eyed statue and a bouncing pink Guardian balloon, only to stick in its goo while the ground itself fists him unconscious. Citizen One orders him brought in for brainwashing. He wakes calling himself Citizen Seven.
