Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · Game Over: Part 1 #
The Plax's life-draining machine is stripping both Mobius and Earth so their worlds can be replanted with Plax androids, but the heroes' interference on Easter Island has disrupted its flow. Grimer turns against Robotnik and persuades the Plax that their supposed ally intends to destroy them as well; the collective attacks, only for Robotnik to obliterate it with his new power. Sonic charges the dictator and is caught in his grip as the machine continues to drain the planet.

Knuckles · Carnival Night Conspiracy, Part 2 #
Grouchio softens the earlier gunfire as a misunderstanding and offers Knuckles a cut of Carnival Night profits to spruce up the Island for his lost people. Sceptical Knuckles still tours, pulverises two Troopers he assumes prove Robotnik's hand, and is told the brothers merely bought Badniks off the doctor. A rollercoaster-haunted-house ride delights him—while Grouchio and Chicio quietly plan an "accident", lest he learn they really do work for Robotnik.

Sonic · Badniks Bridge, Part 2 #
Amy and Johnny reach Emerald Valley Bridge in the Tornado to find Sonic caged by an elite Special Badnik Service Trooper while a thruster convoy for Death Egg II rolls toward his mines. He spins the cage free, drops onto the biplane's wing, then unscrews the transporter's wheels so it cannot move. Amy's arrow detonates the abandoned mines, taking out thruster and bridge alike; at Launch Base, Robotnik vents his fury on Grimer and orders another thruster built at once.
