   Pochacamac explains how the Drakons made Chaos energy and used the echidnas' Emeralds to control it. During the ensuing battle, an energy accident transforms a captured Drakon into Chaos.

1. Knuckles · Total Chaotix, Part 3 #

   Metallixes lock Chaotix outside Omni's forcefield, download him onto a handheld device and vanish empty-framed. Nack still mistrusts Knuckles, yet the team races to the Egg Fortress; Emperor Metallix mutes Omni and begins forging a Pirate Omni-Viewer while Mighty's noisy smash sets every alarm screaming.

   First appeared in issue 55.

2. Tails · Changing Times #

   Echo City looks ruined until Tails spots walls rising and folk running backwards - time itself is rewinding. He waits until the Trooper tank that caused the wreck has not yet struck, then touches the reverse-running machine and both explode into forward time. Citizens thank a fox who seemed to appear from nowhere; only Tails knows he rewrote the afternoon.

   First appeared in issue 82.

3. Sonic the Hedgehog · The Brotherhood of Metallix, Part 2 #

   Robotnik explains that Grimer built the Metallixes and that only Sonic's speed can use the remaining Star Post into the Special Zone. Inside the Egg Fortress Sonic steals the Alpha Device, wrecks two Metallix escorts, then hands it back when the Emperor threatens Grimer. The Emperor vanishes to the Miracle Planet with the device, leaving Sonic to realise the Brotherhood are already ahead.

   First appeared in issue 60.
