Issue overview

The Tomb and Secret Weapon continue into their second chapters. Fashion Victims and the first part of Roots provide the other two stories, shifting the selection away from the previous issue's Knuckles adventure.

Reprinted stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · The Tomb, Part 2 #

Mouse-scale Sonic Spin-Attacks Nack's nose twice, knocks the cowboy hat that hides the shrink capsules, and overdoes the ray until the weasel winks out of existence. Vector works the remaining gadgets; sizes restored, they dump Omni and Super at the asteroid's heart and trigger the Graviton Bomb, sealing both under rubble. Hope is all they have that the tomb will hold - if not, Super will wake angrier than ever.

    First appeared in issue 90.

  2. Tails · Fashion Victims #

A designer's clothes made from Badnik remains become a craze. Short of material, he encourages Robotnik to send more robots into Tails's path.

    First appeared in issue 125.

  3. Sonic's World · Secret Weapon, Part 2 #

In Gum Tree Zone Vermin shrugs off Shortfuse's blaster, floors Tails with his tail and injects a paralysing virus into Shortfuse's armour. Johnny's staff shatters under eye-beams; Amy ignores the armour and bolts a Gum Tree Sac overhead, acid gum melting the shell until Vermin flees for repairs. Tekno the Canary drains the virus in a hidden Emerald Hill workshop, and Shortfuse swears he will be ready next time.

    First appeared in issue 91.

  4. Knuckles · Roots, Part 1 #

Knuckles reaches Metropolis Zone as protesters defend a last scrap of parkland and its ancient trees. He and Ebony repel Robotnik's Troopers, but the trees reveal that their survival is the real issue; the Elder Tree asks the crowd to leave before the next attack.

    First appeared in issue 94.
