Issue overview
Nack the Weasel ambushes Sonic and Chaotix during their attempt to imprison Super Sonic in the Black Asteroid. A shrinking device changes the terms of the fight just as the team needs to carry out its plan.
Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · The Tomb, Part 2 #
Mouse-scale Sonic Spin-Attacks Nack's nose twice, knocks the cowboy hat that hides the shrink capsules, and overdoes the ray until the weasel winks out of existence. Vector works the remaining gadgets; sizes restored, they dump Omni and Super at the asteroid's heart and trigger the Graviton Bomb, sealing both under rubble. Hope is all they have that the tomb will hold - if not, Super will wake angrier than ever.

Reprinted in issue 211.
Knuckles · The Good, the Bad and the Echidna, Part 4 #
Above Rooster's night camp Boss Krouch readies an ambush until a sombreroed 'Chito' draws a confession - then sheds leaf-ears to reveal Knuckles, Sheriff at his back. Cornered on a cliff, Krouch brandishes a predator-scent vial meant to stampede Apterix through the rancher's bedroll; the ledge fails, the vial smashes among the herd, and the birds trample their would-be monopolist. Rooster returns the heavy document chest and loans a green pterodactyl; Knuckles rides it into the sunrise.

Reprinted in issue 210.
Decap Attack · Boris & the Book #
Hollywood's Boris Schwarzenblackenbluenberger - another of the Prof's builds - climbs Chuck's window, terrified a manuscript will out him as corpse-stitched rather than Macclesfield-raised. Lowered through a skylight after the pages, he plunges into a mixing bowl the Industrial Strength Liquidiser is about to pulp - birthday cake for Chuck, not a life story. Boris storms off; the Prof lights up at a fresh title: My Life as a Monster Builder.
Script: Nigel Kitching, Richard Rayner · Art: Nigel Kitching · Letters: Ellie de Ville
Sonic's World · Secret Weapon, Part 1 #
A Metropolis rat tips Johnny that Troopers will walk a new secret weapon through Gum Tree Zone; once the hare leaves, Robotnik himself praises the informer. Two days on, Shortfuse charges the escort and the Freedom Fighters smash every Trooper - too easily. The crate bursts open on Vermin the Cybernik, voice of that same rat, who wanted the armour and boasts he is stronger than Shortfuse.
Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Roberto Corona · Colour: Andy Pritchett · Letters: Tom Frame
Reprinted in issue 210.
