Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · The Tomb, Part 1 #
From Chaotix's Special Zone satellite Sonic finally raises Metropolis - Super is still sealed in Omni's slowed field, so he will not come home while that threat lasts. They ferry the captive toward the Black Asteroid's hollow centre, meaning to bury him and collapse the sole tunnel with a Graviton Bomb. Mouse-sized Nack, paid by Sidewinder, slips aboard, restores himself and shrinks the crew; the craft smashes a wall, Chaotix end up jarred in Nack's fist, and only a miniature Sonic stays free.

Reprinted in issue 210.
Knuckles · The Good, the Bad and the Echidna, Part 3 #
Backwater's Sheriff boots Deputy Krouch into the street for letting a mob nearly hang his prisoner, then pins the badge on Knuckles. In full deputy kit the echidna storms the saloon after Chito; a flung pistol starts a free-for-all, and Knuckles hurls the rabbit through a window for a quieter chat. Chito owns the hit on Rooster as Boss Krouch's order - and warns that the Boss has already ridden out to finish the rancher himself.
Script: Nigel Kitching · Art: Nigel Dobbyn · Letters: Elitta Fell
Reprinted in issue 209.
Decap Attack · The Pumpkin Chaser #
Professor Frank N. Stein rings Transylvanian Pest Control about an attic full of rebellious 'pumpelkins'; Kevin arrives singing the firm song and swears Halloween always wakes the crop. Chuck bowls Head into the orange tide to little effect until Kevin's net bags the lot - van doors slam, and the household realises the last pumpkin perched on Chuck's neck means Head has gone for a ride.
Script: Nigel Kitching, Richard Rayner · Art: Nigel Kitching · Letters: Ellie de Ville
Sonic's World · A New Hope #
Without Sonic the Freedom Fighters buckle under a Badnik swarm: a Batbrain downs Tails and a Balkiry hauls Amy beyond Johnny's javelin. Shortfuse blasts the flyer, catches Amy mid-fall and helps clear the rest. Asked to join, the loner Cybernik agrees for as long as it takes to topple Robotnik.
Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Carl Flint · Colour: Andy Pritchett · Letters: Tom Frame
Reprinted in issue 204.
