Sonic the Hedgehog · The Tomb, Part 1 #
From Chaotix's Special Zone satellite Sonic finally raises Metropolis - Super is still sealed in Omni's slowed field, so he will not come home while that threat lasts. They ferry the captive toward the Black Asteroid's hollow centre, meaning to bury him and collapse the sole tunnel with a Graviton Bomb. Mouse-sized Nack, paid by Sidewinder, slips aboard, restores himself and shrinks the crew; the craft smashes a wall, Chaotix end up jarred in Nack's fist, and only a miniature Sonic stays free.

Knuckles · The Good, the Bad and the Echidna, Part 4 #
Above Rooster's night camp Boss Krouch readies an ambush until a sombreroed 'Chito' draws a confession - then sheds leaf-ears to reveal Knuckles, Sheriff at his back. Cornered on a cliff, Krouch brandishes a predator-scent vial meant to stampede Apterix through the rancher's bedroll; the ledge fails, the vial smashes among the herd, and the birds trample their would-be monopolist. Rooster returns the heavy document chest and loans a green pterodactyl; Knuckles rides it into the sunrise.

Sonic's World · Secret Weapon, Part 1 #
A Metropolis rat tips Johnny that Troopers will walk a new secret weapon through Gum Tree Zone; once the hare leaves, Robotnik himself praises the informer. Two days on, Shortfuse charges the escort and the Freedom Fighters smash every Trooper - too easily. The crate bursts open on Vermin the Cybernik, voice of that same rat, who wanted the armour and boasts he is stronger than Shortfuse.

Sonic the Hedgehog · Bravehog #
After rescuing a hooded stranger from Badniks, Sonic recounts the six-hundred-year-old legend of Bravehog, his ancestor who urged Mobius's divided tribes to stand together against King Leer. Captured while defending the Fox Tribe, Bravehog shamed Leer into revealing himself as a bully; the tribes united and drove the hyenas back. The stranger drops his hood — a hyena ashamed of that bloodline. Sonic tells him ancestors are not his fault, then jokes that Bravehog held the coolest-hedgehog crown only until he arrived.
