Reprinted stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · The Ultimate Nightmare #

Sonic clocks Super Sonic's shifted hands inside Omni - time slowed, not stopped - just as Mighty opens a stray chest of green nightmare smoke. Sidewinder's gang crawls out miniature, hunting the trapped demon as a slave; Sonic floors Lightmare, then Bio-Hazard's vomit soaks the lord instead. The villains shrink home with the antidote, leaving only a name: Nack the Weasel.

    First appeared in issue 88.

  2. Knuckles · The Good, the Bad and the Echidna, Part 3 #

Backwater's Sheriff boots Deputy Krouch into the street for letting a mob nearly hang his prisoner, then pins the badge on Knuckles. In full deputy kit the echidna storms the saloon after Chito; a flung pistol starts a free-for-all, and Knuckles hurls the rabbit through a window for a quieter chat. Chito owns the hit on Rooster as Boss Krouch's order - and warns that the Boss has already ridden out to finish the rancher himself.

    First appeared in issue 89.

  3. Sonic's World · Future Shock, Part 3 #

Robotnik howls that the elderly Sonic is no time-traveller but a lab-grown clone aged too fast and stuffed with false memories. The duplicate turns, smashes Troopers, fetches the real Sonic and cocoons Robotnik's battle-craft in raw speed before collapsing into wrinkles. He flares into rising energy; Sonic forgives the fake who still bought them hope.

    First appeared in issue 88.

  4. Captain Plunder · Captain Plunder and the Spice Maidens, Part 6 #

Plunder keeps the treasure after Zorabel's scheme fails, but the Curse of Akotek sends it tumbling from his ship. With the shields down, Captain Tiberius attacks the Sky Pirates.

    First appeared in issue 108.

  5. Double Sonic · Zero Zone, Part 2 #

Citizen Seven's tour of Perfection's dull routine ends when he asks to meet Citizen One — proof the brainwashing never took. Sonic sheds the uniform, learns a force field rings the Zone, and answers its Spin Attack defence with a Blast Attack that makes the whole place shimmer: it is a solid-light hologram run by a lonely computer Robotnik abandoned. Advised to build somewhere people would choose, Citizen One remakes it as a packed amusement park, and Sonic finally gets a real chilli dog.

    First appeared in issue 107.
