Original stories
Sonic the Hedgehog · The Hive, Part 1 #
Sleepless in Chaotix's satellite, Sonic spots soldier bees bundling Charmy onto a golden skiff and nearly looks away - then tags along rather than abandon the little pest. The Hive's workers refine Special Zone scrap into solid gold; the Queen turns out to be Charmy's mum, and the pest is a prince who begs Sonic not to tell the Crew. She orders him home to royal duty just as a scout howls that Vesper's wasps have returned.

Reprinted in issue 160.
Captain Plunder · Shanghaied, Part 1 #
With a Star Post lashed to the wheel, Plunder's sky-ship means to raid every dimension from New Tek's docks - yet the press gang bags only one smart green stranger. Next morning Simpson finds the captive has scoffed all the Old Caribbean chocolate, so Plunder marches him to the plank. Hands bound, Proctor Speckle fumbles his Transforming Serum; from the shark-filled water rises Mister Fry, a shark still clamped in his jaws.
Script: Nigel Kitching, Richard Elson · Art: Richard Elson · Letters: Elitta Fell
Reprinted in issue 163.
Decap Attack · The Legend of Mr Cuddle Bunny, Part 1 #
Kilted Mick C McTosis pounds Castle Frank N. Stein's door demanding Mr Cuddle Bunny's hat - the heirloom that names the fortune's heir - which the Prof has kept since his favourite author visited a decade ago. Chuck and Head trail Igor to a scream: the writer, locked in the tower for ten years to silence those books, has broken free. Downstairs McTosis crowns himself with the hat just as Bunny strides in, thoroughly cross.
Script: Nigel Kitching, Richard Rayner · Art: Nigel Kitching · Letters: Ellie de Ville
Sonic's World · Secret Weapon, Part 2 #
In Gum Tree Zone Vermin shrugs off Shortfuse's blaster, floors Tails with his tail and injects a paralysing virus into Shortfuse's armour. Johnny's staff shatters under eye-beams; Amy ignores the armour and bolts a Gum Tree Sac overhead, acid gum melting the shell until Vermin flees for repairs. Tekno the Canary drains the virus in a hidden Emerald Hill workshop, and Shortfuse swears he will be ready next time.
Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Roberto Corona · Colour: Andy Pritchett · Letters: Tom Frame
Reprinted in issue 211.
