Original stories

  1. Sonic the Hedgehog · Disaster! Part 2 #

Spikebonkers march Sonic before Robotnik on Death Egg II while Grimer primes a disintegrator aimed at Emerald Hill. Knuckles steers the whole Floating Island in and opens fire; amid the chaos Sonic wrenches the Master Emerald from the power core. A second Island blast shatters a viewport and flings Sonic, the gem and pursuing EggRobos into freefall toward Mobius.

Script: Nigel Kitching · Art: Richard Elson · Letters: Elitta Fell

    Reprinted in issue 166.

  2. Shinobi · Power Of The Elements, Part 6 #

Air's wind magic nearly pitches Musashi off a rooftop until he twists her mask blind and rides her into a brick wall, knocking her senseless. Elsewhere Kotomi-sensei outfights Fire until one Poison Hand strike brands the old man's chest; he has under an hour to live.

Script: Alan McKenzie · Art: Jon Haward · Letters: Tom Frame

  3. Knuckles · Knuckles versus the Cybernik #

Shortfuse chases a Balkiry onto the Floating Island, only for Knuckles to smash the Badnik and treat the Cybernik as another Robotnik trick. After a brief scrap Shortfuse lasers an ambush of Coconuts, earning an apology and a handshake; alone, Knuckles frets how lethal Shortfuse would be if Robotnik ever seized control of him.

Script: Lew Stringer · Art: John Moore · Letters: Elitta Fell

    Reprinted in issue 178.

  4. Sonic's World · Face from the Past, Part 2 #

Amy scolds Sonic over 'Tonic' until he names the shapeshifter Metamorphia, caught mid-hammer blow at Tails when Sonic arrives. She cycles through monster, dinosaur and sticky goo before his speed leaves her reeling over a waterfall; back on Death Egg II she still adores Robotnik, who sneers 'monster' and fumes at her third failure.

Script: Lew Stringer · Art: Gary Andrews · Letters: Elitta Fell

    Reprinted in issue 161.
