Sonic the Hedgehog · The Return of Chaotix, Part 5 #
At young Kintobor's lab the heroes watch the Kinetic Gyratoscope blast past Sonic into his blue form, and present Sonic finally understands the rotten egg. He restocks the empty fridge, jumps twenty-four hours, then trips past Kintobor into the Retro-Orbital Chaos Compressor so the doctor becomes Robotnik - the very villain needed to keep Metallix from owning Mobius. Back in a restored present Sonic Omni-ports into Citadel Robotnik's office, blazing with fury.

Knuckles · New Master Emerald #
Knuckles finishes carving a replacement Master Emerald and begins draining the Guardian robot's head into it, only for the head to wake and fire beams that force him into cover. He burrows through the Chamber walls, drops onto the robot and knocks its aim aside until its power falls too low to shoot. Seeing a conscious being about to die, he tears out the transfer cables, then learns Zachary's reprogramming has faded - leaving memory banks that might finally tell him where his people went.

Sonic's World: Amy & Tekno · Spaced Out, Part 2 #
Light-years from Mobius, Amy and Tekno find Shortfuse aboard an Insectra starship — under the thrall of a green Controla-Crawly on his chest. He blasts Amy's crossbow apart and marches them before Grand Emperor Dark Visor. Amy distracts the emperor while Tekno works; soldiers firing at her hit the parasite instead and free him. Shortfuse rejoins the fight just as the Blurrgh attack the ship.

Tails · Fall of the Leaf, Part 2 #
More Eldorado robberies leave darts champion Eric Bungalow blaming Tails for his stolen gold trophy, even when the real fox arrives from the opposite direction. Allowed a chance to prove himself, Tails baits the thief with a fake Golden Bike Frame at the museum; the Leaf falls for it and escapes on mechanical wings until their batteries die. Tails catches him for the authorities, and the locals suddenly insist they knew he was innocent all along.

Sonic's World · Brute Force, Part 4 #
Armed with Johnny's secrets - even the Emerald Hill Folk's Floating Island refuge - Brutus boasts he will eclipse Robotnik, who already suspects his commander's silence. Mid-briefing the scanner's side-effect hits: Johnny's personality surges, and Brutus blasts his own Troopers as "bucket-headed creeps" before wiping the rabbit's thoughts and crushing the device. Johnny escapes; memory of the hideout gone, Brutus retreats to the Misery Zone to grow Badniks until Robotnik is only a memory.
